First the area, then the show — divide it well and off you go.
First steps
Growing areas are the stage of your garden: beds, raised beds, greenhouses — rectangular, round, or as L, T and U shapes. And they are born right where they belong: in the middle of your garden. In edit mode you create them and place them on your property like a deco element — except that later your food grows here.
Their heart are the sections. They make crop rotation possible: each plant family moves one field further every year, and your soil stays healthy. That is why the app stays friendly but firm here: a crop plan needs an area with at least three sections — or a single one for the perma bed planner.
A bed well planned on solid ground — keeps your soil healthy all year round.
